Performers

It takes many different performers to have a successful faire. Below is a listing of some of my favorite performers.
This is just a small sampling of all the performers I have encountered.

The Scottish TartsFacebook page
A musicale touring group of dedicated ladies from the great northwest performing bawdy songs, and celtic tunes for the pleasure of our fans.

Heavy HammerFacebook page
HEAVY HAMMER is a drum-heavy pipes & drum band. Specializing in traditional Celtic music, played in a non- traditional way. Jon: great Highland bagpipes, Erik: percussion, Mike: percussion, Chris: bodran & cowbell all hail from Buckley, WA. HEAVY HAMMER can be found performing at pubs, parties & faires throughout the local area.

ZingerZinger's Royal Magick  Facebook page
Royal Magick is the premiere traveling stage magic troupe performing at Renaissance Faires in the Western USA.
For over a dozen years portable Renaissance Faires have used Zinger's Royal Magick for Tudor Era entertainment. Royal Magick is the premiere traveling "stage magic" troupe in this field.  Our magic is beyond "walk-on and perform out of pockets or a cart" -- we fill the stage with performers, props, action, and characters. Royal Magick puts magic into a Renaissance Faire and is what a MAGIC SHOW is all about.
One of our missions is "to raise the standard of performance at Renaissance Faires" and we have always reached that while pushing the limits farther each year.

Alexander James Adams  - Faerie Tale Minstrel
Alec has been making music since childhood (he learned to read sheet music before he learned to read!) An accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician, Alexander frequently accompanies his vocals with guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and a variety of percussion.  He frequently performs at pubs, Renaissance Faires, conventions, and private parties.

Brotherhood of Oceanic Mercenaries - BOOM
Cannons will Roar! Cutlasses will Clash! Jigs will be Danced and Shanties will be Sung! Enjoy lively performances and theatrical re-enactments by the notorious crew of the "Emerald Rose". This fun-loving band of scallywags will raise your spirits in song and thrill your senses with suspense and intrigue; charmin' their way into your good graces all the while. "So batten down yer hatches, stow yer wenches and ...Prepare to be Boarded!!!"

BOWI - Bowi
Kickin Celtic Music - For years, Seattle based BOWI has been entertaining audiences with a blend of traditional Celtic music and unique energy. The BOWI sound encompasses a wide range of music including driving Jigs and Reels, exciting vocals, and beautiful ballads. An incredibly flexible and adaptive group, BOWI has performed at everything from Pubs and local faires, to private parties and weddings. Acoustic or "Plugged in", BOWI has never failed to get the hands clapping and feet stomping.

The Seattle Knights & PiratesSeattle Knights

The Seattle Knights are the Pacific Northwest's premiere sword fighting and jousting theatrical troupe.  With equestrian thrills and high-octane choreographed stage combat using real steel weapons, the Seattle Knights bring you the best of medieval history and fantasy! Call on us for knights, pirates, swashbucklers, musketeers, highlanders and more, to make your event — large or small — unforgettable.

The Greenwood Players consists of actors, dancers, and musicians of all ages. We bring Elizabethan England alive through song, dance, costuming, and environmental theatre. The company members research their own character and make their own costumes. The clothing they wear is a real expression both of the character they play and their own personality, as well as a representation of actual clothing of the times.
The "Greenwood Players" lecture in local schools on the times and customs of Elizabethans, as well as teaching some singing and dancing. We have been seen by kindergarten through college level groups throughout the Columbia Basin area.
We also present "Mystery Dinners" set in various historical periods. The Mystery Dinners are directly interactive with the audience and are most often performed in a banquet setting.
Performers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join our ranks. Technicians and stagehands are always needed. Experience is not required. Whether you want to act, sing, dance, or just help us put up sets, everyone is welcome.

Tobias the Adequate - http://theadequate.com/
Tobias the Adequate  is the "Persona au Gratin" of entertainer Matthew Legare - the product of close to two decades of improvisational and interactive performing at hundreds of fairs, festivals, markets and other events throughout California, Nevada and Oregon
Tobias is part magician, part philosopher, part hero, and mostly a loud fat man in a series of outlandish hats and costumes, armed with an arsenal of magic and rapid-fire wit making him both amazing and amusing, often at the same time!
Matthew Legare has been performing pretty much as long as he can remember - getting his start as the "substitute sheep" in a local church's Nativity Play by virtue of being the only kid small enough to fit the costume.
